The Sos Molinos waterfalls are located on the east side of Montiferru, exactly on the border between Santu Lussurgiu and Bonarcado, and represent one of the most important hydrographic phenomena of the central-western subregion of Sardinia.
They are called Sos Molinos waterfalls because they have origin in the course of the Riu Sos Molinos, so named for the massive presence of water mills built in the pre-industrial period along its course.
